Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related digital services offered through buzzlimki. These services include access to an entertainment media guide focused on spotlight coverage, show updates, camera planning, lighting techniques, studio segments, and organised content workflows. The policy covers both one-time course purchases and subscription-based access where applicable. It does not apply to any physical goods or in-person events.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the applicable UK rate unless otherwise stated. Any additional charges such as currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider will be your responsibility and are not included in the advertised price. buzzlimki reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards processed securely through our payment gateway. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order submission. All transactions are protected by industry-standard encryption and comply with PCI DSS requirements. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment you will receive an email confirmation detailing the course or subscription purchased. A binding contract is formed only once we have sent this confirmation and you have received access credentials or download links. Until that point either party may cancel without liability.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed. However, because our offerings consist of digital content, this right is lost once you begin downloading or streaming the material, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available only where you have not accessed the digital content and cancel within the 14-day period. No refunds are provided for partial use, completed downloads, or after the cooling-off period has expired. Promotional or discounted purchases may have specific exclusions detailed at the time of sale.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund you must email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of your intention to cancel. Requests must be received within the applicable time limit. No telephone requests will be accepted.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Our team will review your request within five working days. You will be notified by email whether the refund is approved or rejected, with reasons provided in the case of rejection. If approved, processing begins immediately.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, although your bank or card issuer may require additional time before funds appear in your account. We will provide a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.

Special Rules for Digital Content and Subscriptions

Access to digital courses is granted immediately upon purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date via your account settings. Refunds for subscriptions are limited to the unused portion only if cancellation occurs within the first 14 days and no content has been accessed.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

In the event of a failed payment we will attempt to contact you using the details provided. Duplicate charges will be refunded automatically once identified. Any chargeback initiated without valid grounds may result in suspension of access and recovery of costs. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may lead to immediate account termination.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
